Duress
Since we began our journey 5 years ago, we have constantly pushed the boundaries of what technology can do to keep people safer. Through our partnerships with government, corporate, and community organisations, we have been able to learn exactly what users, team leaders and corporate want and need out of a safety platform.
We pioneered live video streaming as well as emergency services escalation and verification, and more recently wearables and internal notifications.
We have now integrated machine learning into our check-in functionality, allowing users to be kept safe without the need for any input, as well as developing incredible location accuracy, which now includes level and room detail, location reviews and auto safety updates.
Users can use Duress to check in to locations, request assistance from their team, receive regular welfare checks from their managers and request emergency services from our various devices and apps.
Introducing innovative bluetooth devices and wearable smart watches, we have packed the technology that our customers love into compact and sleek devices ensuring a safe and discrete experience. The people who we protect are not just our customers, they are our partners.
Everyday they entrust us, our technology and our Operators to keep them safe, and we do this by listening to the safety issues they are experiencing and then developing solutions that seamlessly, discretely and effectively solve them.
The Duress PRoducts
We Offer
Duress App
The Duress App is a mobile app available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Users can be managed in the Duress Portal for organisations with multiple users. The following features are available on the Duress App:
- Check In and Safety Timer (check into
- locations and let other users know if you haven’t checked out after a specific time)
Location Ratings (users can give locations a safety rating and leave comments) - Team Alert (users can request assistance and send their location to the rest of their team or only specific people)
- Emergency (users can send their live video, audio and location to our 24/7 monitoring centre, who can request emergency services)
- Are You OK? (send regular welfare checks to users, if they don’t confirm they are OK an emergency will start)
Duress Phoenix Card
The Duress Phoenix Card is a Bluetooth card that can be purchased as an add-on to the Duress App. It can remotely activate Check-In, Team Alert and Emergency within a 10m range to the phone. Discreet and quick! Please note that the Phoenix card only works when paired to an app.
Duress Falcon
The Duress Falcon is a digital smart watch that is fittet out with a camera and a SIM card (Optus or Telstra) so it can run completely standalone and doesn’t need to be configured to a smart phone. The following features are available on the Duress Falcon:
- Safety Timer (set a timer and let other users know if they don’t cancel or extend the timer before it ends)
- Team Alert (users can request assistance and send their location to the rest of their team or only specific people)
- Emergency (users can send their live video, audio and location to our 24/7 monitoring centre, who can request emergency services)
- Fall Detection (the device can detect a slip, trip or fall and start an emergency if the user doesn’t confirm they are safe)
- Are You OK? (send regular welfare checks to users, if they don’t confirm they are OK an emergency will start)
